Square Enix has revealed that 3.4 million copies of Tomb Raider have been sold in four weeks, but that wasn't enough to make its sales target.

There was no word on how many copies Square Enix expected Tomb Raider to sell, only that it didn't hit a predetermined target.

The publisher also revealed that last year's Sleeping Dogs shifted 1.75 million copies since August, while Hitman: Absolution sold 3.6 million units since November.

The sales figures were published in the company's latest financial report, but for some reason they don't include digital sales.

Earlier today Square Enix confirmed that company president Yoichi Wada was being replaced due to poor financial results.

Crystal Dynamics recently announced that all future Tomb Raider DLC will be for the multiplayer modes. Check out our exclusive interview with Tomb Raider multiplayer producer Joe Khoury here.
