10,000 stores open for midnight Halo 4 launch

Microsoft has announced that more than 10,000 stores will be opening at midnight for the launch of Halo 4.

The stores are located across 40 different countries and will open for business at 12:01am on 6 November.

Marquee launches will also take place in cities including London, Dubai, Tokyo, Paris, Toronto and Berlin.

This includes a 'spectacular stunt' down London's River Thames on the night of 5 November.

Microsoft is sparing no expense when it comes to the Halo 4 launch. Earlier this week it was revealed that the country of Liechtenstein had been transformed for a theatrical experience, complete with pyrotechnic explosions and sound effects.
