Star Wars: The Old Republic servers merged

BioWare has confirmed servers for Star Wars: The Old Republic have merged.

There are now fewer worlds for players to inhabit but they now support a higher number of players.

A statement on The Old Republic blog said: "By centralising our player populations on these higher populating destination servers, we feel that we can offer our players the best possible Star Wars: The Old Republic experience."

BioWare recently announced that Star Wars: The Old Republic will become free-to-play in November.
