It’s a good day for Rocket League fans, as developer Psyonix has announced it’ll be creating basketball mode for the game, as well as teaming up with Dying Light developer Techland, to create unique content for both Rocket League and Dying Light.
Let’s start with basketball though. Psyonix’s Rocket League has done exceptionally well and now the developer has announced it will be working on a basketball mode for the game. The announcement came on Twitter yesterday and players won’t be able to just roll the ball into a goal. It appears, from the image, the goal, or hoops, are raised so you’ll have to do a bit of work to get the ball in to score.
But in other Rocket League news, you’re now able to kit your vehicle out with skins from Dying Light. And in Dying Light, you’re able to choose your buggy from Rocket League and have it as a drivable vehicle in your world!
“We’re huge fans of Rocket League and because both games offer great driving fun, we thought why not just partner up and give fans of both games some unique stuff,” said Techland producer Tymon Smektala.
There’s a trailer below that might give you more of an idea, but we just thought we’d share some awesome Rocket League news.
In other Rocket League news, we made a video of Rocket League with former ArabicGamers Arabic language editor (now Sony Middle East community Manager) May Jahjah. We’ll dig it up and post it on YouTube. It’s quite fun…
