New details have been given for Skyrim’s new DLC Dawnguard.

The highly-anticipated release is set to be a big one which will take at least ten hours to complete.

This is according to the game’s lead artist, Matt Carofano, who told GameFront: “It’ll take between ten and 20 hours to beat.

“Dawnguard will be significantly bigger than any Fallout DLC. We wanted to do something more in depth than that.”

Dawnguard’s story will see you try to prevent a vampire lord called Harkon from using an Elder Scroll to blot out the sun.

Vampire hunters have been added to the game giving you the choice of joining sides with Harkon or the vampire hunters as they battle against him.

Joining the vampires will make you a flying vampire lord, giving you powers like Vampiric Grip as you suspend enemies while draining their health.

Joining up with the hunters will give you weapons such as the new crossbow, which is always ready to fire and can stagger targets.

Dawnguard is in invite-only beta on Xbox 360. It is set to be available on the platform for the end of June before being released on PS3 and PC 30 days later.
