Borderlands 2 DLC available now

Gearbox has announced that new Borderlands 2 DLC, Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt, is available to download for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

The content adds a new area to the world of Pandora called Aegrus, as well as new characters such as Hyperion Scientist Professor Nakayama.

Players can also expect to come across new bosses, like the cave-dwelling Thermitage.

"Claptrap needed work and Sir Hammerlock needs help, so Borderlands 2 players are called to action," said Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford.

"Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt is a new, original campaign expansion to the Borderlands 2 experience featuring awesome new content including a new fan boat vehicle that can be rigged with a badass flamethrower to help fight tons of new beasts and tribal enemies and take their loot."
