The Old Republic getting expansion next year

BioWare has confirmed that Star Wars: The Old Republic will receive the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion in spring 2013.

The add-on will increase the level cap by five levels to 55 and include new story content for players to enjoy.

A new planet called Makeb will also be introduced in the Rise of the Hutt Cartel.

The expansion will be available for $19.99 USD upon launch or $9.99 USD for subscribers.

Star Wars: The Old Republic became free-to-play earlier this year, allowing users to play the game with certain restrictions for no charge.
