Skyrim Hearthfire now on PC

Bethesda has released the Skyrim Hearthfire downloadable content for PC through Steam.

The house-building add-on allows players to buy their own plot of land within the game and build a home on it.

The content costs £3.49 GBP on Steam and is available to download now.

PlayStation 3 owners are still waiting for the last Skyrim DLC pack, Dawnguard, after it launched on Xbox 360 three months ago.

Bethesda marketing chief, Pete Hines, said there was still no news for PS3 players.

"We're still on it," he said on Twitter. "Will share update when I have one.

"The performance isn't good enough in all cases. For most folks, it'd be fine. For some, it wouldn't be."
