Doom 4 leak and id Software doesn't deny

Despite alleged leaked images of Doom 4, id Software hasn't denied that the images are fake.
Software design director, Matt Hooper said "those images have nothing to do with what you're gonna see in Doom4. When we officially show things you'll see awesome" in a tweet.
Despite this tweet, there is nothing in it to say that what we can see is nothing to do with Doom 4, but rather that we can expect to see more "awesome", and that these shots might very well be an indication of the setting of the game.
The images show wrecked and under siege city areas, but id Software fans have been able to spot more telling details.
Bethesda head honcho, Pete Hines has said that when they're "ready to talk about and show it off, we'll let everyone know."
So until then… and we reckon that "then" will be at QuakeCon 2012.
