The next-generation Kinect sensor will have the ability to track a user's eye movement, according to a new report.
The Verge has claimed to hear from multiple sources close to Microsoft's plans that Kinect will be much improved for the next Xbox.
The report states that the sensor will be able to pause media content when the user looks away from the screen.
Apparently Kinect will also have a big part to play in Microsoft's TV and user interface plans for its next console.
Microsoft has been very quiet regarding plans for the next Xbox, which comes as a surprise given Sony's PlayStation 4 announcement in February.
Speculation is mounting that Microsoft will finally reveal the next Xbox at an event on 21 May.
