All PlayStation 4 specs revealed

Sony has detailed the hardware specifications for the PlayStation 4 following last night's reveal.

The console will come with 8GB memory, an 8-core CPU and a next-gen AMD GPU.

It will also feature a custom chip containing eight x86-64 cores and a graphics processor, offering high performance and ease of development.

Sony is claiming the PS4 has been designed to "ensure that the very best games and the most immersive experiences reach PlayStation gamers".

A hard disk drive will also be built in, although Sony hasn't released any details of how this will be used.
