Just Cause developer 'going next-gen'

Avalanche Studios looks set to leave the current generation behind by moving onto development for the next-gen consoles.

The Just Cause developer has long been rumoured to be working on a new title, likely to be Just Cause 3.

Now studio founder, Christofer Sundberg, has posted a picture of old devkits on Twitter and said they're being sent back.

"We're shipping 'em back," he wrote. "Going next-gen on your asses."

This means that Just Cause 3 won't see the light of day until late 2013 at the earliest, when Sony and Microsoft are expected to launch their next consoles.
