Original Doom 3 comes back to Steam

The original Doom 3 is available to download again from Steam.

Last month the Doom 3: BFG Edition was released with enhanced graphics, sound and 3D support.

The original Doom 3 was then removed from Steam due to the new edition but now its back due to fan demand.

"On the heels of the Doom 3 BFG Edition's release, we heard feedback from fans: you still wanted a chance to purchase the game's original 2004 release," said a statement on the Bethesda blog.

"Beginning this week, the original version of Doom 3 and its expansion, Resurrection of Evil, are available at lower price."

Players can purchase the original Doom 3 for £5.99 GBP, the Resurrection of Evil expansion for £3.99 GBP or both for £7.99 GBP.
