Yakuza 5 gameplay details

Sega has released gameplay details for upcoming Yakuza 5.

Famitsu reports (via Andriasang) that combat has been enhanced with a brand new AI engine, redesigned locations and enemy animation.

There is also the potential to be attacked by thugs from almost anywhere, while you can dispatch them with a Heat Action called Climax Heat.

A dance battle system has been introduced where character Haruka is judged on her moves in five genres: hip-hop, house, idol, jazz and rock. If you dance well against rivals you'll be able to perform Dance Heat moves.

Yakuza 5 is a PlayStation 3 exclusive. It doesn't currently have a release date.
