Grid 2 is Codemasters biggest investment

Codemasters has revealed that Grid 2 will be the publisher’s biggest ever investment in a video game.

Grid 2 was announced earlier this week and Codemasters' executive producer, Clive Moody, spoke about the money being used on the new project.

Moody said: "It's our most expensive development to-date.

"A huge amount has been poured into it and this is a game that has been in pre-production for some considerable time.

"We know we absolutely have to get it right. It is the sequel to one of our most successful games at Codemasters, and it's very important to the business.

"From my point of view, it is really important that we raise the bar further and set a new standard for video games."
