Saw writers working on God of War movie

The God of War movie will be re-written by the scriptwriters from the Saw films.

Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan worked on four installments of the Saw franchise as well as upcoming title Pacific Rim.

They’ll be re-writing the originally penned script from David Self which was scrapped years ago.

Self will work now be working on the project as executive producer.

The God of War games have sold over 20 million copies since 2005.

The next game in the series, God of War: Ascension, is set to launch March 2013 exclusively for PlayStation 3.
