Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst trademark and domain registered

In what could be confirmation of the the next Mirror’s Edge game, EA has registered the trademark and domain name for “Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst”.

The news comes from a NeoGAF post detailing information of the game, including the filing number, the application reference and supported languages.

EA has also teased the news on the official Mirror’s Edge Twitter account, but it’s all a little bit cryptic.

It could very well be a different game for a different platform, such as mobile, but it’s unlikely. With E3 a week away and expectations of a release in early 2016, it’s more likely it is the next instalment of the game and we expect we’ll hear more next week.
