All new Titanfall game modes will be free

Respawn Entertainment has revealed that all new Titanfall game modes will be free of charge.

Studio co-founder Vince Zampella was responding to questions on Twitter when he said that new game modes would be released separately from premium DLC.

"DLC is in the works, not quite done yet [though]," he said. "Modes we release will be free to all, not part of DLC."

Three paid DLC packs will be heading to the shooter with new maps and other content, although there's no release date for any of that yet.

Apparently Titanfall double XP weekends can also be expected to take place in the future.
