Ground Zeroes companion app hits mobiles

Konami has released a Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes companion app on the App Store and Google Play.

The app allows you to connect to any version of the game - Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS4 - and provides an overhead map of the area.

You can then use that to call in choppers to aid you in your mission.

The app also comes with a base-building sim called Mother Base, where you create a base, recruit an army and then send your troops out to different battlefields.

You can download the app now, while the full console version of Ground Zeroes will be available on 20 March.
