Metal Gear Solid 5 leaked

Details of a possible new Metal Gear Solid game have appeared from Comic-Con.

An unverified image from the event links Hideo Kojima’s Project OGRE with Metal Gear Solid 5.

The picture comes with the tagline “Open Ground Reconnaissance Endeavors’ (OGRE).

Last year Kojima announced that Project OGRE would be an open-world game allowing players to explore huge environments.

This would mean a massive change of direction for the Metal Gear franchise, which is famous for stealth gameplay in tight areas.

Gears of War’s Cliff Bleszinski also took to Twitter over the weekend to confirm that Kojima was showing a secret project off to people behind closed doors at Comic-Con.

He said: “Just got pulled into the back room by Hideo Kojima and showed some crazy new secret stuff. Wow.”
