MGS5: Ground Zeroes has exclusive PS4 and PS3 content

Hideo Kojima has confirmed that Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes will feature exclusive content on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.

Kojima revealed the news by tweeting an image of a TV screen running the game.

"Prologue to Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain," said the text on the screen.

"Takes place in 1975 after Peace Walker and nine years before The Phantom Pain. Multiple missions with central story mode and side-ops missions.

"Exclusive content for PlayStation platform."

Kojima hasn't explained what the content might be, but it's likely to be an extra hour or so of gameplay.

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes launches spring 2014.
