Deus Ex voice actor was dismissed from Far Cry 3 role

Deus Ex: Human Revolution voice actor Elias Toufexis wasn't hired to play Jason Brody in Far Cry 3 because Ubisoft didn't want him to sound too similar to Adam Jensen.

Toufexis revealed the news yesterday at the MCM Expo in London, where ArabicGamers is hosting the game stage alongside our friends over at X360A.

Apparently Toufexis played the role of Brody for two years before Ubisoft changed their minds.

The developer didn't want players of Far Cry 3 to associate Brody's voice with Jensen, so decided to hire Gianpaolo Venuta instead.
