Batman voice actor is returning to Origins

Batman: Arkham City voice actor Kevin Conroy is returning in upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins, contrary to previous reports.

The news that Conroy wouldn't be appearing in the next game in the series was reported last month, with Warner Bros. Montreal reportedly looking for a new voice actor.

However Conroy confirmed that he will be returning at Dallas Comic Con over the weekend.

"We've been working for about nine to ten months on the next Arkham," he said in a Q&A session. "We all signed these contracts that we weren't allowed to talk about this.

"The studio likes to completely control the roll out of any product, so they don't like any of us to talk about anything. It's now been announced."

Conroy also spoke about how "amazing" Arkham Origins is and how much effort is being put into development.

"It's an unbelievable game. I still can't say anything about it. You don't want to me anyway because I'd ruin it for you. But it's amazing.

"It's a huge, huge cast and a big story. It took almost a year to write and put together. They've been working on it for a long time."

Warner Bros. released a short teaser trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins last week, with the full trailer expected later today.
