Funcom has announced that The Secret World has sold over 70,000 copies since being re-launched as a buy-to-play game.
The subscription fee was dropped in December, meaning players could just pay a one-time fee to access all content.
Activity levels within the game have seen an increase of over 400%, with Funcom saying there has been a 30% increase in total sales.
"We are building the basis of a very sustainable business," said Funcom CEO Ole Schreiner.
"With a restructured organisation, we will have a joint team of the best-of-the-best working together to expand our existing online worlds and to create new, exciting and memorable online experiences such as our upcoming LEGO Minifigures game."
