God of War: Ascension multiplayer beta starts January

Sony has announced that the multiplayer beta for God of War: Ascension kicks off on 9 January.

The beta is open to PlayStation Plus members and will feature a Team Favour Rush Mode.

This mode consists of players fighting to gain favour points from the Gods to unlock new options for their Gladiator.

Favour Rush will also be available in a single-player version if you're the kind of Gladiator who prefers solo combat.

God of War: Ascension is gearing up for a 15 March release.
