I'll be honest, I used to be a PS fanboy, all the way until the Xbox came out. The first generation of controllers were far too big, and I hated them.

But I have to say, personally I find them much more comfortable. Sometimes though, I wish I could swap consoles but keep the controller....

The good thing about PS3 is there's no such thing as a "PS3 live subscription". The last time I checked anyway. The Controllers on the xbox are better all round in terms of comfort and size. The Trigger for first person shooters and accelerators for racing games.....Brilliant!.

I prefer the way the Xbox controller fits into my hands, it's nice and chunky. The PS controller feels almost flimsy in comparison, like it's going to break whenever I get annoyed with a game. Which is often.

Xbox controllers are the way forward I think. I also find that the PS Vita and PSP are awkward to hold and not particularly comfortable. Cramps after a couple of hours gaming...

I think the new xbox controller will have more buttons. Not sure about the Kinect though...

I'll throw in a vote for the 360 controllers, simply because they're marvellously ergonomic. The DualShock was nice when it came out but it's since been massively overshadowed, so I wouldn't be too surprised if the next one gets a bit of a redesign (although not too much, as that controller shape is a bit of a tradition for Sony).

The original Xbox controllers were awful, though. Seriously, those things were designed for Bigfoot.

Yeah, I couldn't agree more, the original controller for the xbox required some, let's just say, extra curricular activity for you to be able to handle it.

I doubt Sony will change their controllers. Sony fanboys swear by that controller. Although they're going to have to do something, because I hate them and as we all know, my opinion is the most important... :P

Is there any need for more buttons on the controllers? They've got pretty much everything covered now... Although I said that after the first PlayStation controller...

What we need are controllers that we can assign buttons on, and shift buttons so that we can double up on actions. Can you imagine how far gaming would advance if we weren't limited by the buttons for actions? It would mean a whole lot more work for developers though.
