New Tony Hawk game possible

A new Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game is a possibility after the success of the HD remake.

Tony Hawk’s HD sold over 120,000 downloads and CEO of Robomodo, Josh Tsui, told Gamasutra the remake was made to see if there was interest in a completely new Tony Hawk game.

Tsui said: “In many ways that’s how we went about pitching this project, and how Tony Hawk himself convinced Activision to get behind the idea.

“By making it ‘lower risk’ we were allowed to take some chances, which benefits both developer and publisher.”

Tsui added that due to the success of the HD remake, “the prospect of a fuller game is definitely on the table – it’s just a matter of when and how.”
