Modern Warfare 3 DLC coming next week

A release date for new Modern Warfare 3 DLC has been unveiled.

Infinity Ward will release the latest batch of content 19 June on Xbox 360 for Call of Duty Elite members.

Executive producer of Infinity Ward, Mark Rubin, said via Twitter: “The next MW3 Elite Premium drop for Xbox 360 comes out 6/19. Details on the content will be posted on 6/18.”

The only details currently known about the content is that players will gain access to a new map, a new mission and another ‘classified’ download.

These content drops will be included in the third traditional Modern Warfare 3 DLC collection.

PS3 players also have reason to be cheerful as they can get the new Face-Off game mode as well as two free maps (‘Erosion’ and ‘Aground’) this Friday.

Modern Warfare 3 was developed by both Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer, and it was revealed this week that Sledgehammer is working on a new Call of Duty release for the future.
