POSTED:

EA has confirmed the details of Battlefield Hardline Premium, and announcing that those with DLC membership will have two weeks’ early access to four story-themed expansions and a load of bonuses for $50 USD.

The expansions will have their own stories, new multiplayer maps, modes and vehicles as well as other in-game content.

The first is Criminal Activity, where players will have to “make a name for themselves in fast-paced, highly-destructible new maps littered with small-time crime jobs. Available summer 2015.”

Next is Robbery, which sees players taking down the opposition head-to-head in key locations and includes “cinematic action”, whatever that is. This is also available from summer 2015.

Getaway is a “frantic, high-speed chases that immerse players deeper in the heist.” This is available in autumn 15.

Finally, Betrayal which has a rat in every operation and players will have to figure out who the rat is. This will be available in winter, more specifically early 2016.

Of course, Premium members will have access two weeks before and being a member also contains four additional in-game features outlined by EA below.

Masks: New player masks with unique gameplay benefits tied to the theme of each mask.

Gun Bench: Provides players with the ability to visually customize their weapons and track their kills per weapon.

Competitive Play: Support for competitive play through Battlefield Hardline Premium-access only tournaments and ladders.

Legendary Status: Provides replayability of the entire progression system.

And finally, on a last note, Premium users will get 12 Gold Battlepacks, additional personalisation options for their characters’ guns, camps and ammos skins, as well as double XP and priority positions.

The game releases on March 17 and will be available on all platforms - you can pre-load now if you’re interested too.

EA Access members on XBO will, however, have early access from March 12, but you’ll be limited to 10 hours of gaming before launch.

We’ll have an interview and a review soon, so make sure you keep checking back for the latest on Battlefield Hardline.
