It’s been revealed that Godzilla will be coming to the PS4 and PS3 in the summer of 2015.

The announcement came this morning and the game will be developed by Japanese videogame studio NATSUME ATARI INC.

You’ll control the infamous monster that rises from the depths of the ocean and cause chaos and havoc on land. Your objective for each level is to take out the energy generators and collect as much G-Energy as possible, the currency used to power up Godzilla.

The G-Energy will allow you to make Godzilla bigger and add to his “offensive and defensive” skills, which I presume will be laid out in some form of progression tree, or lite-RPG format.

For those that fear that it’ll be same-y throughout the game, fear not, we’ve been promised it’ll span across many different locations and you’ll have classic enemies to fight, such as Mothra, King Ghidorah and Mechagodzilla.

And fear not! If you’re bored of the levels in-game, you’ll have the option to create your own arena of destruction!

Finally, because of it’s heritage, what would a Godzilla game be without the film camera angles? Well, not much, so you’ll be happy to hear that gamers can enjoy a multitude of camera angles as they rip through the missions.

The game will be available in Europe, the Middle East and America in the summer of next year. Check out the trailer below.
