Super Smash Bros. hitting 3DS before Wii U

Nintendo has revealed that Super Smash Bros. on Wii U is targeted for a winter 2014 release, but the 3DS version will launch this summer.

Both games will be available to buy at retail and through the Nintendo eShop upon release.

Several classic characters from previous Smash Bros. games were also confirmed to return, including Zero Suit Samus, Sheik, Yoshi and Charizard.
