Xbox One external game storage coming soon

Xbox One will be getting support for external game storage in the near future.

That's according to Xbox Live director of programming Major Nelson, who was answering questions from fans on Reddit.

"External game storage is coming soon... I need to check on media support."

Nelson also said he needed to find out the details on whether there would be a limit to external storage like the Xbox 360's 32GB.

The next Xbox One update will bring new game save features and friend notifications, as well as improved Kinect and game DVR functionality.
