Diablo 3 accounts hacked with gold and items stolen

It's been reported that there has been some hacking activity across Diablo 3 accounts, much to the dismay of gamers.

The game was released last week, but since then there has been concern about accounts as more people report their accounts are being hacked.

Players have reported seeing their character accounts lose items and gold. Blizzard has said it will "roll back" affected players' characters to before they were compromised.

Although Blizzard has an Authentiactor, released a few years ago to improve security, players have claimed that this hasn't made any difference. In addition to this Battle.net was created partly to resolve some of these issues.

We've put a call in to Blizzard to find out more. It's unlikely they'll get back to us today, but we'll let you know if we hear anything.

One more thing, this is something we've seen on the EU servers. If there are any issues on any other servers, we'd be keen to hear.
