Gran Turismo 6 given new details

Sony has released several new details for upcoming racer Gran Turismo 6.

That includes information on all-new locations for the series, featuring new tracks such as Brands Hatch, Willow Springs, Matterhorn, The Ascari Circuit and the Gran Turismo Arena.

You can now take part in night racing at Spa and Laguna Seca, and there's a simulation of the stars passing over as you race.

1197 cars will be included in the game, and you can check out the full list by clicking here.

Mini-games have also been added to Gran Turismo for the first time, which offer small challenges such as seeing how far players can drive on a litre of petrol.

Gran Turismo 6 launches for the PlayStation 3 in December.
