Ubisoft has admitted that both Rayman Legends and Splinter Cell: Blacklist failed to meet sales targets.

As such, revenue expectations for the financial year have dropped from $1.94billion USD to $1.38billion USD.

The lowered outlooks can also be blamed on the delay of Watch Dogs and The Crew, which will both release later than planned.

"As we have said we have experienced lower sales than we anticipated when we gave our targets," said Ubisoft executive Alain Martinez.

This includes "already released games such as Splinter Cell, Rayman and others".

Ubisoft claimed that gamers looking forward to next-generation consoles was one of the reasons both games didn't do as well as hoped.
