All Killzone: Shadow Fall DLC maps are free

Guerrilla Games has confirmed that every new map released for Killzone: Shadow Fall after launch will be free.

This makes a nice change for FPS players, who are used to paying for new map packs in games such as Call of Duty.

Apparently the decision to add free maps was made "to prevent the player base from becoming fractured".

However players will have to pay for downloadable content when the packs feature new gameplay and customisation features.

Killzone: Shadow Fall launches exclusively on the PlayStation 4 at the end of the year.
