Ryse to feature "small microtransactions"

Crytek's upcoming Xbox One title Ryse will come with "small microtransactions".

That's according to developer Joss Rosby who, in a behind closed doors session, said that players would be able to purchase gold packs with real-world money to help them in the game.

The packs will help with the progression system in Ryse, which is based around different armour types and upgrades.

Rosby also said that the impact of microtransactions was minimal, and players who didn't purchase items using real-world money wouldn't be unfairly effected.
