SimCity for Mac gets launch date

EA has announced that SimCity will launch for Mac on 29 August.

The city building title was initially scheduled for release in June, but it was pushed back to add some finishing touches.

Players who have bought the PC version will also get to download the Mac version for free through the Origin service.

SimCity has sold 2million copies since coming out on PC in March.
