Olimar and Pikmin returning to Super Smash Bros

Nintendo has confirmed that Captain Olimar and Pikmin will return to Super Smash Bros on Wii U and 3DS.

Olimar made his debut in the last Smash Bros game, and he'll be making another appearance despite not being the lead character of upcoming Pikmin 3.

A new stage based on the planet from Pikmin 3 was also shown off in new screenshots, which you can check out below.

There are several new characters heading to Super Smash Bros on Wii U, including Mega Man and the Animal Crossing villager.

At E3 it was also revealed that the Wii Fit Trainer would be included in a Smash Bros game for the first time.
