Insomniac Games CEO Ted Price is considering whether a version of upcoming Fuse will make its way to the Wii U in the future.

Earlier this week Price confirmed that Insomniac wasn't developing any titles for the Wii U right now.

He claimed that they simply didn't have enough resources to create games for too many platforms.

"We have to be selective because it's easy to start to stretch yourself too thin," he told DigitallyDownloaded. "So we're careful about where we go.

"One of the questions I got a lot of early on was 'why aren't you developing for the Wii U?' and the answer was simply bandwidth.

"We had to focus on delivering a great game on multiple platforms, but there's a point where we had to make hard choices, and for us we needed to limit the number of platforms for Fuse."

However Price stopped short of saying a Fuse port would never happen.

"We're not ruling out anything in the future. We are a content creator and we want to reach as large an audience as we can."

Fuse launches on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on 28 May. Click here to read our latest preview.
