Grid 2 video shows off real-life race

Codemasters has released a video showing off a real-life race between two McLaren's alongside gameplay footage.

Motoring journalist Chris Harris has been given the task of using a 592bhp McLaren MP4-12cs to win the race, using knowledge that he has gathered from Grid 2.

The race is taking place at Brands Hatch, one of the recreated tracks found in the upcoming game.

"I'm thoroughly enjoying working on these videos for Grid 2, and adding a few pointers to help develop the handling on some of the key cars in the game," said Harris.

"As someone who spends so much time in the latest supercars, it's been fascinating seeing the intricacies of the Codemasters development process used to create these virtual machines, and the accuracy of the results is mind bending."
