Black Ops 2 on PS3 gets patch

Activision has released a patch for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on the PlayStation 3.

The patch has been designed to fix problems that players have been experiencing with freezing.

However it appears that freezing still occurs for some players when going online.

"A patch has been released for fix the lock-up/freeze issues affecting Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 online gameplay on PlayStation 3," Activision said on its website.

"However we are aware that some customers are still experiencing PS3 lock-ups after installing the patch and we are doing everything we can to get to the bottom of it as quickly as possible."

Activision informed users that the patch would be installed automatically when they load Black Ops 2.
