Ubisoft has suspended development of Patrice Désilets' 1666 project.
The game was initially in the works during Désilets time at THQ Montreal, but then Ubisoft acquired the studio during the THQ auction earlier this year.
Désilets and Ubisoft have since parted company, and Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot said that work on the project is now suspended.
